Eric Carroll is back for his senior season with the Yellow Jackets following an outstanding junior campaign.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....one of four players to appear in all 42 games.....made 38 starts with 32 of those at second base.....ranked third on the club with a .333 batting average.....assembled a team-best 10-game hitting streak.....recorded 11 two-hit games and four two-RBI efforts.....went 5-for-9 at the plate in three NCCAA Midwest Regional games.....handled 106 chances in the field with a .943 percentage. 2002 - Appeared in 24 games as a sophomore with three starting nods....scored eight runs including the go ahead score in a 6-2 non-conference win at Bluffton. 2001 - Appeared in ten games as a freshman with one start.....had five at bats in limited playing time with a run scored. High School - Started every game during his baseball career at Delware Christian High School thus earning four letters.....named Team MVP and swept offensive and defensive Player of the Year honors.....batted .500 with a school-record seven home runs as a senior.....four-year letter winner in soccer and achieved two more in basketball.....member of ACSI state championship soccer squad as a junior and was named Team MVP as a senior while also being recognized with all-league honors.....played on three basketball conference title teams.....National Honor Society student, president of Senior class, and graduated third in his class. Personal - Dean's List student as a middle childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 7/22/81 in Bradenton, FL.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carroll.....has one younger brother and a younger sister.
