Jeff Lowe returns for his third campaign with the Yellow Jackets after assembling one of the finest seasons ever in Cedarville's long baseball history.....NCCAA All-American.....batted .403 with a school-record 47 runs batted in.....socked 8 home runs and totaled 50 hits with both numbers ranking as the second-highest in school history in each category.....ranked 4th in the American Mideast Conference in RBI's, 8th in batting average, and 9th in homers.....led CU in batting average, hits, triples, homers, total bases (90), extra base hits (21), slugging percentage (.726), walks (19), on base percentage (.490), and sacrifice flies (5).....pounded out 17 multi-hit games with two three-hit efforts.....drove in two or more runs 14 times.....registered two 3-RBI games, two 4-RBI games, and drove in five runs against Georgetown.....batted .535 with runners in scoring position and was 5-for-6 with the bases loaded.....voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team and the All-AMC South Division Team. 2002 - Played in 41 games with 37 starts as a rookie with a .310 batting average.....second on the squad with 116 at bats, 20 runs scored and 52 total bases.....led the squad in hits (36), doubles (13), RBIs (23), total bases (52) and stolen bases (4).....contributed a pair of hits and four runs scored in an 18-1 victory at Transylvania.....added two hits with three RBIs in a 6-2 win over No. 2 seed Spring Arbor in the semifinals of the NCCAA Midwest Regional. High School - Put together a three-sport career at Benjamin Logan High School.....played four seasons of baseball, basketball, and football earning three letters in each sport.....two-time all-state second team third baseman.....earned all-conference, all-county, and All-Miami Valley honors his final season.....batted .489 as a junior and .371 as a senior to finish with a career .428 average.....set a school record for most hits in a season with 46.....helped club win the conference championship as a senior.....all-conference football and basketball player.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Carries a youth ministry major at Cedarville University.....born 8/20/82 in Bellefontaine, OH.....son of Mr. Rick Lowe and Mrs. Nancy Jackson.....has four older sisters, an older brother, and a younger sister.
