  • Jason Weakley is recognized as the Yellow Jackets' leader on the floor from the point guard position.....enters his third season at Cedarville after studying for one year at the Word of Life Bible Institute in New York.....voted to the American Mideast Conference South Division First Team after starting all 35 games with averages of 11.0 points and 3.1 assists.....led the team in minutes played, three-point accuracy (.456), free throw percentage (.823), and steals (66).....scored in double figures 20 times.....matched his career-high of 21 points with eight rebounds and five assists in a win over Saint Ambrose in the first round of the NAIA Division II National Tournament.....recorded double-doubles of 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Wilberforce as well as 12 points and 10 boards during a victory at Walsh.....dished out a career-high 10 assists in a win over NAIA Division II No. 4 Huntington.....named to the Cedarville Invitational all-tournament team.

    2001-02 - Appeared in all 37 games during his rookie season with 36 starts.....averaged 10.3 points per game and led the squad in minutes played, assists (148) and steals (53).....scored in double figures 22 times......hit a perfect 5-for-5 outside the arc and totalled a career-high 21-points in an AMC Tournament win versus Tiffin.....tallied 20 points and eight assists in a victory at AMC co-champion Saint Vincent.....handed out a career-high nine assists in a AMC win at Daemen.....hit a jump shot with three seconds left to beat AMC host Ohio Dominican, 75-73.....drilled a trey at the buzzer to force overtime at Rio Grande.

    High School - Played for current Yellow Jacket head coach Ray Slagle at Worthington Christian High School.....four-year letter winner during his prep career....helped lead high school team to a 93-10 record in four seasons including the Ohio Division IV state championship in 1999.....member of four-time Mid-Buckeye Conference championship squad that lost only one league game during that timespan.....three-year starter who finished with 1,289 career points including 164 three-pointers.....posted a career 46-percent accuracy outside the arc and was an 84-percent free throw shooter.....named to the All-Ohio Division IV Second Team as a senior after averaging 14.2 points and 6.1 assists.....two-time All-District and All-MBC selection.....National Honor Society student.

    Personal - Communication Arts major at Cedarville University.....born 3/23/81 in Abbotsford, British Columbia.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Weakley.....has two older brothers: Kevin, who played basketball at Otterbein, and Bryan, who played at Biola.
