  • Jon Waldo is one of the most prolific scorers in Yellow Jacket soccer history.....team captain, who enters his final season fourth all-time at CU in scoring (122 points), fourth in goals scored (48), and second in assists (26).....needs just two assists to become the school's all-time assist leader and only nine points to move into 2nd place behind all-time scoring leader and NAIA Hall of Famer Larry Bollback (189 points).....led the 2002 club in scoring for the third straight year with 16 goals and 7 assists for 39 points.....netted at least two goals in a match five times including a three-goal effort in a 4-0 win at Taylor.....scored the game winner in a 3-2 overtime victory at Wittenberg and assisted on the team's other two goals.....tallied two goals and three assists in a 7-0 AMC decision over Shawnee State.....earned spots on the NAIA Region IX Team, NCCAA Midwest Region First Team, and the AMC South Division First Team.

    2001 - Started all 24 matches as a sophomore and exploded for 21 goals and a school-record 14 assists for 56 points.....point total was the third-highest in school history for a season and his goal output was the fifth best.....registered six multi-goal games including four three-goal efforts.....tallied two or more assists four times.....scored overtime goals against AMC foes Malone and Tiffin, and assisted on another versus Grace.....named to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team and to the NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.....voted to the American Mideast Conference Second Team.

    2000 - Made an immediate contribution as a freshman by leading the team in scoring with 11 goals and 5 assists for 27 points.....made his collegiate debut with two goals, including the game winner in overtime, during a 3-2 victory against Northland Baptist.....scored three times versus Defiance.....named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team and to the NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.

    High School - Produced a record-setting career at Riverside Brookfield High School.....started all 75 matches during his prep career finishing with school records of 65 goals and 54 assists for 185 points.....graduated 7th all-time in the state of Illinois in assists and 50th in goals scored.....owns the fastest goal in state history (0:07) and his five assists in one match rates third all-time.....also scored five goals in a match.....finished 4th in the state in scoring as a senior with 31 goals and 23 assists for 85 points.....four-time team MVP and four-time All-Suburban Prairie Conference player.....league MVP as a senior and was a two-time Academic All-State selection.....earned two letters in track & field.....National Honor Society student.

    Personal - Carries a finance major at Cedarville University .....born 4/5/82 in Crown Point, IN.....son of Rev. and Mrs. Tom Waldo.....older brother, James, is a 2002 Cedarville graduate.....has one younger sister.
