Beall, CU pick up NCCAA honors Beall is the 12th Yellow Jacket to be selected to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team. The Jackets, who also won the Sportsmanship Award in their last NCCAA appearance in 2001, took home the honor again which is voted on by the referees and presented in conjunction with the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (NISOA). Waldo, Jackets end season with 4-3 win Waldo converted a penalty kick in the 17th minute to get the scoring underway and then set up Stephen Brust in the 27th minute for a goal to give CU a 2-0 advantage. The Warriors scored in the final minute of the first half and then early in period two to knot the score, 2-2. Waldo struck again in the 59th minute with a header on an assist from Andrew Belleman for a 3-2 lead. After Western Baptist came back with the equalizer, Peter Dryer netted the game-winner in the 80th minute on assists from Waldo and Tyler Schumacher. Waldo completes his career second on Cedarville's all-time scoring list with 147 points. He is the Jackets' all-time assist leader with 33 and is tied for second in goals scored with 57. [STATS] Belleman, Jackets honored by AMC, NCCAA Junior defender Tim Thomson, senior defender Todd Beall, and sophomore midfielder Grant Knight were voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region First Team. Senior forward Jon Waldo, junior midfielder Peter Dryer, and sophomore midfielder Tyler Schumacher were named to the second team. Waldo, Cedarville's second all-time leading scorer with 55 goals and an all-time high 31 assists for 141 points, earned a position on the AMC South Division First Team.
