Dan Campbell is the top distance runner in the Yellow Jacket program.....Cedarville's #1 runner in all eight cross country meets in the fall.....won individual championships at the Wittenberg Invitational, CU's Friendship Invitational, and the Ohio Northern Invitational where he turned in a career-best 25:23 effort in the 8K.....NCCAA All-American by placing 12th and was 3rd in the American Mideast Conference meet.....was 50th of 254 runners at the NAIA Nationals. 2002-03 - Competed on the track during the indoor season only and was the NCCAA champion in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:40.27.....ran a career-low 15:27.76 at Denison.....qualified for the NAIA Indoor Championships in the 5K.....ran in the #3 position for the cross country team as a freshman.....had a season-low time of 26:40 in the 8K and finished 21st out of 226 runners the Louisville Classic.....placed 22nd in the NCCAA Nationals in 26:53. High School - Produced a record-setting cross country career at Grand Rapids Baptist High School.....picked up all-state honors as a junior and senior after winning the regional individual title both years.....three-time All-River Valley Conference runner and was a three-time Team MVP.....twice named to the Grand Rapids Advance All-Area Team.....posted a school-record 16:13 in the cross country 5K.....member of three conference championship teams and two region title squads.....recognized as an ACSI Distinguished Student. Personal - Carries a biology major at Cedarville University.....born 10/28/84 in Portland, ME.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Campbell.....has one younger brother and two younger sisters.
