Chris Hershey is a second-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....finished the cross country season as the squad's #4 runner.....had a season-low time in the 8K of 26:49 at Ohio Northern to finish 26th.....13th overall in the Friendship Invitational in 26:52 and was 23rd in the NCCAA Nationals in 27:15.

2002-03 - Ran the 5,000 meters during the outdoor track season.....turned in a career-low 16:04.97 effort at the Miami Invitational.....placed 8th in the American Mideast Conference 10K in 34:39.89.....best time in the indoor 3K was 9:36.12.....ran in seven varsity cross country meets as a freshman.....turned in a career-best 26:45 for the 8K and placed 27th overall at the Louisville Classic.....finished 11th in the Friendship Invitational in 27:05.

High School - Four-year letter winner in both track & field as well as soccer at Oxford Area High School.....track team MVP, who was a district qualifier in the 1,600 meters with a career-best time of 4:31 in the event.....all-conference second team performer.....ran 16:33 in the 5K.....scored 23 goals in four years of soccer and was team MVP.....all-conference first team player as a senior and recognized on the second team as a junior.....National Honor Society student.....ran in seven varsity meets for the Yellow Jacket cross country team last fall.....turned in a career-best 27:05 for the 5K as CU's #3 runner and placed 11th overall in the Friendship Invitational.

Personal - Carries a history major at Cedarville University.....born 2/25/84 in Wilmington, DE.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hershey.....has one older sister and an older brother.
