Scott Marquardt returns for his second season with the Yellow Jackets.....one of five pole vaulters on the squad.....only competed during the indoor season as a freshman.....cleared 11-feet 6-inches at the Denison Invitational.

High School - Four-year track & field competitor at Newaygo High School with three letters.....all-conference first team pole vaulter with a career-best effort of 12-6.....placed 2nd in the event at the Pioneer All-Star Track & Field Meet.....two-year letter winner in cross country.....salutatorian of graduating class.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Carries a middle childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 7/9/83 in Fremont, MI.....son of Mr. and Mrs. John Marquardt.....has one older brother....younger brother, Todd, is a freshman pole vaulter with the Yellow Jackets.
