Phillip Prater will focus on the 800 meters in his second season with the Yellow Jackets.....ran a personal outdoor best of 2:04.33 at the Miami Invitational.....fastest indoor effort was 2:05.62 at Denison. High School - Four-year track & field letter winner at Northfield High School.....member of sectional championship 4 x 800 meter relay squad as a junior and senior.....team's leading scorer his final season.....participated four years in cross country with two letters.....school won sectional and regional titles during his junior and senior campaigns. Personal - Youth ministry major at Cedarville University.....born 9/26/83 in Warsaw, IN.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Mander Prater.....has an older sister, three younger sisters, and a younger brother.
