Chris Hershey returns for his second season after seeing action in seven varsity meets as a freshman.....ran a career-best 26:45 for the 8K and placed 27th overall at the Louisville Classic.....finished 11th in the Friendship Invitational in 27:05.....CU's #2 runner and placed 53rd overall in the Midwest Collegiate Championship in 27:10.....ran the 5,000 meters during the outdoor track season.....turned in a career-low 16:04.97 effort at the Miami Invitational. High School - Four-year letter winner in both track & field as well as soccer at Oxford Area High School.....track team MVP, who was a district qualifier in the 1,600 meters with a career-best time of 4:31 in the event.....all-conference second team performer.....ran 16:33 in the 5K.....scored 23 goals in four years of soccer and was team MVP.....all-conference first team player as a senior and recognized on the second team as a junior.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Carries a history major at Cedarville University.....born 2/25/84 in Wilmington, DE.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hershey.....has one older sister and an older brother.
