Katy Dellicarpini is a third-year player and will see plenty of action at first base in the upcoming campaign.....appeared in 13 games as a sophomore with seven starts as the designated player....recorded two hits in 22 at bats in limited plate appearances.....scored her lone run of the season in a 8-3 win over Notre Dame College. 2002 - Batted .364 as a rookie with four hits in 11 at bats.....had one triple, scored four runs, and drove in two others.....recorded two hits with two RBI's in a 7-6 American Mideast Conference victory at Notre Dame.....handled nine chances in the field without an error. High School - Joined the Lady Jacket softball program with two years of high school experience.....homeschool graduate, but was co-most valuable player at Stranahan High School as a sophomore and was the MVP as a junior.....batted .267 her first season and .320 in the second. Personal - Nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 6/18/83 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dellicarpini.....has one older sister and a younger sister.
