Paula Thompson returns for her third year in the Lady Jacket volleyball program.....will fill the middle hitter position for the second consecutive year after playing on the outside her rookie season.....appeared in all 45 matches and all 160 games last fall.....second on the team with 451 kills, a .302 attack percentage and 73 blocks.....fourth on the squad with 394 digs.....powered a career-high 25 kills in a match against Rio Grande.....recorded a season-high 19 digs in a victory at Shawnee State.....posted 10 double-doubles last season in kills and digs.....ranks 8th all-time with a .273 attack percentage and is 10th all-time with 94 service aces....named American Mideast Conference South Division Honorable Mention.....voted to the Cedarville Invitational All-Tournament Team. 2001 - Played in 41 matches and 141 games during her freshman season.....third on the team with 350 digs and serving percentage of .926.....registered 45 aces and 35 total blocks.....posted season-highs of 13 kills and 23 digs at Urbana.....recorded double figures in digs in 12 matches. High School - Enjoyed an exceptional two-sport career at Solon High School.....three-year letter winner in volleyball, who led her team to a 25-3 overall record and a berth in the Ohio Division I semifinals during her senior season.....earned All-Ohio Division I Third Team honors.....selected to the Western Reserve Conference First Team and the All-District First Team.....ranks second all-time at Solon in kills (388) and solo blocks (88).....led the Comets to a 67-13 mark during her three years of competition while capturing three consecutive undefeated WRC titles.....achieved four letters in diving and won league, sectional, and district championships.....member of the Merit and Honor Rolls for four years.
