Julie Stauffer is back for her final season with the Lady Jackets.....appeared in all 34 games with 33 starts last season.....became just the 11th player to reach 1,000 career points and currently ranks ninth all-time with 1,272 points.....drilled a season-high 25 points in win over Indiana-South Bend.....garnered a season-high nine rebounds in a victory against Wheeling Jesuit.....second on team with 144 assists and third in scoring with 14.2 points per game.....fourth in AMC with 4.24 assists per game.....named NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....earned NCCAA Midwest Region 2nd Team and American Mideast Conference South Division First Team honors.....all-time CU leader in three-point field goals made with 176.....tied for first all-time with 483 three-point field goals attempted. 2001-02 - Named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team as a sophomore.....also earned AMC Honorable Mention.....needs 210 points to reach the career 1,000 point milestone.....began the season as CUs all-time leader in free throw percentage with an .806 accuracy.....one of three players to start all 33 games.....second on the team in scoring with 14.4 ppg and 118 assists.....scored a career-high 27 points in 72-62 AMC win against Mount Vernon Nazarene.....grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in a loss at Saint Vincent while tying her career-high of eight assists.....scored in double figures 26 times including seven performances of 20 or more points. 2000-01 - Named to the All-AMC Freshmen Team and to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....started all 28 games and averaged 11.3 points with team-highs of 98 assists and 44 steals.....fired in 52 three-point baskets and shot .828 from the free throw line.....scored in double figures 17 times and dished out five or more assists nine times.....netted a season-high 20 points against Marian.....scored 19 points with a season-high eight assists in a win at Concordia.....poured in 19 points in two other games. High School - Earned four letters each in basketball, soccer, and softball during her high school career.....played her freshman, sophomore, and senior years at Faith Academy in Manila while her parents served as missionaries in the Philippines.....led team to three Far East Class AA championships and was tabbed a Class AA All-Star each year.....averaged 16 ppg as a senior and hit a school-record eight three-point baskets in one game.....named the Pacific Stars and Stripes female athlete of the year as a sophomore.....Faith Academy's soccer MVP as a freshman.....played three sports her junior season at Northrop High School in Fort Wayne.....voted to the Summit Athletic Conference First Team in basketball.....presented the school's Mental Attitude Award in soccer.....National Honor Society student Personal - Dean's List student as an exercise and sport science major at Cedarville University.....born 11/26/81 in Manila, Philippines.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Stauffer.....has one older sister, an older brother, and a younger brother.
