Krista Watson is back for her second season with the Lady Jackets after a successful rookie campaign.....appeared in 17 matches with 16 starts.....named Team MVP for her efforts in 2002.....registered two goals and two assists for six points to finish tied for fifth in scoring.....both goals were game-winners with one coming in a 1-0 victory over Otterbein and the other in a 4-0 win against Daemen.....also a member of the Lady Jacket track & field team.....participated in the 200 and 400 meters.....part of the 4 x 100 meter relay squad that posted a season-best 51.54 time at the Miami Invitational.....also part of the 4 x 400 meter quartet that recorded a season-best 4:08.65 at the NCCAA National Championships.

High School - Completed a four-sport prep career at two separate high schools.....graduated from Northside Christian Academy in Charlotte, NC where she played soccer for one season.....named to the all-conference and all-state teams as a senior.....voted school's Female Athlete of the Year in 2001-02 for her basketball and soccer accomplishments.....played one season of basketball at Northside Christian, named Team MVP, selected to the all-conference and all-state teams, and led squad to the MAC conference title.....played three seasons of basketball at Baptist Academy in Indianapolis and was a member of three league title teams.....also played three years of softball and one season of volleyball.....tabbed softball Team MVP.

Personal - Early childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 7/18/84 in Shelbyville, IN.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Watson.....has one older brother and a younger brother.
