Castro, Mark, Maat are NAIA All-Americans Castro picked up All-America honors in the pole vault for the third consecutive season. Mark took 10.38 seconds off of her school record in the steeplechase and was an All-American for the second straight time in the first two years the NAIA has staged the event for women. In other events, Lauren Mable advanced to the semifinals in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. The school record holder in both events, she was 5th in her heat of the 100 (12.14) and 3rd in her heat of the 200 (26.11). However, she was 7th in heat of the 100 meter semifinals (12.43) and 7th in the semifinal heat of the 200 (25.39). Keri Hilty moved on to the semis in the 800 meters after finishing 2nd in her heat in 2:16.25. She advanced again with a time of 2:15.64, but was 9th in the final in 2:20.73. Hilty was also 24th in the high jump (5-1). Elsewhere, Michaela Bolton placed 13th in the hammer throw (147-5), Bonnie Wright was 19th in the long jump (17-6.25), and Sarah Ensslen was 23rd in the triple jump (35-7.50). The Jackets tied for 19th as a team out of 99 competing schools. [COMPLETE RESULTS and PHOTO GALLERY] Mark wins at Windsor; 4 x 400 qualifies for NAIA Mark won the 5K with a time of 17:28.78. The 4 x 400 unit of Bonnie Wright, Keri Hilty, Sarah Ensslen, and Lauren Mable took 3.62 seconds off the school record, placed 2nd overall, and qualified for the NAIA with an effort of 3:56.03. The foursome was also 2nd in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 49.59 seconds. Rachael Castro finished 2nd in the pole vault after clearing 11-feet 9-inches. Michaela Bolton was 3rd in the hammer with a throw of 146-8. [COMPLETE RESULTS] Lady Jackets have eight NCCAA All-Americans Sarah Mark repeated as the 3,000 meter steeplechase champion with a time of 10:58.55 which is the 3rd-fastest mark in the NAIA this season. Sarah Ensslen won the triple jump with an effort of 37-feet 4.50-inches and Michaela Bolton won the hammer with a toss of 156-feet even. The 4 x 100 meter relay squad of Bonnie Wright, Deborah Sweede, Ensslen, and Lauren Mable won the event in 49.41 seconds. Mable broke her own school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.97 seconds which placed 3rd and earned All-America honors (top 3 finishers). She also set a new school record and met the NAIA automatic qualifying mark in the 200 meters in 24.96 seconds during the prelims. Samantha Maat was 2nd in the 10,000 meters with an NAIA automatic qualifying time of 37:40.65.
