Sarah (Roberts) Mark has developed into one of the top distance runners that Cedarville has ever had.....will again specialize in the 3,000 meter steepelchase outdoors.....top Cedarville runner in eight of nine cross country meets this past fall.....NAIA All-American by placing 21st of 256 runners in 18:23.....captured individual titles at Shawnee State, Wittenberg, Cedarville, and Wilmington.....ran a career-low 18:22 for the 5K at Wittenberg.....placed 3rd at the American Mideast Conference Championships (18:45) and at the NCCAA Nationals (18:24).....four-time NCCAA All-American and four-time All-AMC performer. 2002-03 - Earned NAIA All-America honors with a 4th-place finish in the first-ever running of the womens 3,000 meter steeplechase in 11:04.35 at the NAIA Outdoor Championship.....won the first-ever running of the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 10:59.54 at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship to earn NCCAA All-America status.....was 2nd in the 5K in 18:18.93 and won the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 11:12.77 at the American Mideast Conference Championship.....placed 3rd in the 5,000 meter run at the Miami Invitational with a season-best time of 17:57.49 to meet the NAIA automatic qualifying mark.....captured 1st place in the 1,500 meters at the Muskingum Invitational with season-best mark of 4:59.65.....posted a season-best 5:04.99 for a 5th-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the Ohio Northern Indoor Invitational.....paced Cedarville's cross country squad to their third straight AMC Championship with a 1st-place finish and career-best effort of 18:48 for the 5K.....placed 32nd at the NAIA Nationals where the Jackets placed 4th running in the #1 position with a time of 19:16.....NCCAA runner-up and earned All-America recognition for the third straight year as team repeated as champion. 2001-02 - Earned NAIA All-America honors as a sophomore in the outdoor 5,000 meters with her 5th-place finish and a time of 17:53.24.....ran a career-best of 17:48.31 in the 5K at the NCCAA Championships to earn NCCAA At-Large All-America.....finished 2nd in the 3K at the AMC Championships with a time of 10:29.79.....posted a career-best effort of 10:21.27 in the 3,000 meters at the Butler Invitational.....earned a 2nd-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the AMC Championships with a career-best 4:52.06.....finished 5th in the javelin at the AMC Championships with a toss of 93-feet 1-inch..........ran in the #4 position for the NAIA national championship cross country team in the fall.....helped CU win the NCCAA banner and picked up NCCAA All-America honors for the second straight time by finishing 8th in 18:54.....placed 6th in the conference meet for All-AMC recognition for league title squad. 2000-01 - Narrowly missed NAIA Indoor All-America honors in the mile run by finishing 7th in 5:16.28.....placed 3rd in the 5,000 meters as a freshman in both the AMC (18:48.80) and NCCAA (18.41.19).....ran a season-low 18.31.76 at the Florida State Relays.....ran in the #2 cross country position for team that placed 8th in the NAIA and 2nd in the NCCAA.....NCCAA All-American with a season-best time in the 5K of 18:52 that placed 9th overall.....earned All-AMC honors with a 5th-place finish as the Jackets won the team title. High School - Named the Female Athlete of the Year as a senior at Vicksburg High School.....earned four letters each in cross country and track plus two more in volleyball.....two-time cross country Team MVP and three-time MVP in track.....set the school record in the cross country 5K with a time of 18:25.....member of two conference championship teams.....holds track school records for the 800 meters, mile, and two-mile.....part of three-time conference champion 4 x 800 relay team that holds the school record.....member of conference and regional title track teams.....Academic All-State in cross country and a National Honor Society recipient.
