Alicia Elder has been a three-year member of the Lady Jacket indoor track & field team, but will compete in her first season of cross country after serving as the team's manager.....ran a career-best 19:33.49 to place 6th in the 5,000 meters at the NCCAA National Indoor Championships last winter.....opened the indoor season by winning the 5K at the Ohio Northern Invitational in 19:56.96.....posted a career-best time of 11:20.18 in the indoor 3K.

High School - Earned three letters in cross country and four more in track & field at Gilman High School.....part of 4 x 800 meter relay team that qualified for the state meet as a junior.....picked up all-conference honorable mention recognition.....also played three years of basketball.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean's List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 7/2/81 in Big Rapids, MI.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Elder.....older sister, Rachelle, was a four-year distance runner for the Lady Jackets.....also has an older brother, two younger brothers, and a younger sister.
