  • Kim (McNeilance) Fleck is one of two four-year runners for the Lady Jackets.....ran in the #3 position last year.....NCCAA All-American by placing 3rd overall with a career-best time of 19:02 for the 5K.....helped CU win their third straight American Mideast Conference title and earned All-AMC honors upon finishing 6th in 19:09.....placed 18th of 344 competitors in the Midwest Collegiate Championship in 19:08 and was 54th of 255 at the NAIA Nationals in 19:35.

    2001 - Finished her sophomore year as the squad's #5 runner.....part of NAIA championship team placing 83rd of 238 runners in 19:46 as CU's 5th finisher.....ran a season-best 19:34 to place 19th overall at the Friendship Invitational.....broke 20:00 in four of the other five varsity meets she competed in.....placed 4th in the AMC 5K on the track in 19:24.95.

    2000 - Transferred to Cedarville from Bob Jones University.....2000 season was her first-ever in collegiate cross country and she missed part of the schedule with injuries.....ran in five varsity meets and was CU's 10th finisher, placing 35th overall, at the AMC Championship in 21:44 for the 5K.

    High School - Earned four letters each in cross country and track at Stevenson High School and served as team captain in both sports.....four-time all-conference cross country performer.....member of four-time conference championship squad that won two regional titles and twice was state runner-up.....part of two track regional championship teams.....achieved Scholar-Athlete recognition as a senior.

    Personal - Married former Yellow Jacket basketball player Curt Fleck on Dec. 21, 2002.....organizational communications major at Cedarville University.....born 4/17/81 in Livonia, MI.....daughter of John McNeilance and Sandy Keller.....has one older brother and an older sister.
