Nov. 22, at NAIA Nationals
Sarah Mark became the seventh Lady Jacket runner to earn NAIA All-America honors when she placed 21st out of 256 runners at the NAIA National Championship. The top 30 finishers are recognized as All-Americans. Cedarville ended its season 9th out of 28 schools as a team. Mark, who previously picked up NAIA All-America honors in the 5,000 meters and steeplechase in outdoor track, covered the 5K course in 18:23. That effort was just one second off of her career best. Jennifer Tetrick finished 48th in 18:56. Others to score for the Jackets were Ann-Marie Wiggins (77th; 19:17), Melissa Mattner (136th; 19:49); and Melissa Wysong (144th; 19:53. Nov. 15, NCCAA NATIONALS
Sarah Mark paced Cedarville to a 3rd-place tie in the NCCAA Championships by finishing 3rd overall to earn All-America honors for the fourth straight year. She covered the 5,000 meters at John Bryan State Park in 18:24. The top 15 finishers are All-Americans. Melissa Wysong and Jennifer Tetrick joined Mark on the All-America unit. Wysong was 14th in 19:16 while Tetrick, who was the defending individual champion but running on a sprained ankle, was 15th in 19:17. Ann-Marie Wiggins was 28th in 19:36 while Melissa Mattner finished 35th out of 140 runners in 19:58. Indiana Wesleyan won its first-ever title with 41 points. Malone was second with 57 points while the Lady Jackets and Roberts Wesleyan tied for third place with 95 points each. There were 20 teams in the field. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Nov. 1, at American Mideast Conference Championship
The NAIA No. 11 Lady Jackets finished 3rd in the American Mideast Conference Championships which broke their string of three straight league titles. No. 10 ranked Malone won the 13-team meet with 32 points, No. 21 Roberts Wesleyan was 2nd with 47 points while CU tallied 63. Sarah Mark led the way for Cedarville by placing 3rd out of 136 runners with a time of 18:45 for the 5,000 meters. Other Jackets to score were Jennifer Tetrick (4th; 18:48), Ann-Marie Wiggins (14th; 19:38), Melissa Wysong (17th; 19:44), and Kim Fleck (27th; 20:20). Mark and Tetrick earned spots on the All-AMC First Team by finishing in the top seven. Wiggins was an All-AMC Second Team selection by grabbing one of the next seven spots. Oct. 17, at Wilmington Classic
Sarah Mark won her fourth meet of the season to lead NAIA No. 7 Cedarville to the Wilmington Classic championship. She turned in a time of 18:29 for the 5,000 meters. Jennifer Tetrick finished 4th in 18:47 while Melissa Wysong was 8th in 19:39. Other CU runners to score were Melissa Mattner, 12th in 19:48; and Kathy Scott, 16th in 19:54. Ann-Marie Wiggins, who has been running in the No. 3 position, sat out the meet to heal a minor injury. Cedarville finished with 35 points. Oct. 10, at All-Ohio Championship
The NAIA No. 6 Lady Jackets placed 12th out of 39 schools at the All-Ohio Championship, but finished tied for 2nd among NAIA/NCAA Division II teams. Maimi won the meet with 58 points and was followed by four other NCAA Division I members. Cedarville totaled 329 points. Jennifer Tetrick set the pace for Cedarville by covering the 5,000 meters in 19:19 to place 26th out of 269 runners. Other Lady Jackets to score were Sarah Mark (40th; 19:33), Ann-Marie Wiggins (60th; 19:53), Melissa Wysong (73rd, 20:02), and Melissa Mattner (130th; 20:53). American Mideast Conference member and NAIA No. 10 Malone won the NAIA/NCAA Division II group with 38 points. Cedarville and Ashland tied for the runner-up spot with 58 points apiece. Sept. 27, at Louisville Classic
The NAIA No. 3 Lady Jackets placed 5th out of 34 teams at the Louisville Classic which included eight squads ranked in the NAIA Top 25 as well as five NCAA Division I programs. The meet was run on the course that will host the NAIA Nationals in November. Sarah Mark paced Cedarville by placing 12th out of 340 runners with a time of 18:54 for the 5,000 meters. Other Jackets to score were Jennifer Tetrick (24th; 19:11), Ann-Marie Wiggins (33rd; 19:24), Melissa Mattner (54th; 19:45), and Melissa Wysong (61st; 19:51). NAIA No. 1 Northwest (Wash.) and NCAA Division I Belmont (Tenn.) tied for the team title with 90 points each. The rest of the top five included NCAA Division II Wayne State (Mich.), 147; NAIA No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan, 150; and Cedarville, 164. [COMPLETE INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM RESULTS]

Sept. 20, 13th Annual FRIENDSHIP INVITATIONAL
Sarah Mark won for the third time this season to pace NAIA No. 3 Cedarville to victory in the 13th Annual Friendship Invitational at John Bryan State Park. It's the fourth straight time the Lady Jackets have won their own meet and the ninth time in all. Mark toured the 5,000 meters in a course-record time of 18:23. Jennifer Tetrick was 4th in 19:01; Ann-Marie Wiggins finished 5th in 19:17; Melissa Mattner was 9th in 19:32; and Melissa Wysong placed in 10th in 19:35. Cedarville totaled 29 points and was followed by Roberts Wesleyan, 61; Wright State, 74; Findlay, 83; Shawnee State, 124; and Wittenberg, 153. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Sept. 13, at Wittenberg Invitational
Sarah Mark won her second straight individual title and the NAIA No. 4 Lady Jackets had the top six finishers in rolling to victory at the Wittenberg Invitational. Cedarville had 15 points to outrun Rio Grande, 65; Wittenberg, 70; and Capital, 91. Mark's winning time was a career-best 18:22 for the 5,000 meters which bettered her previous low by 26 seconds. Other Lady Jackets in the top five were Jennifer Tetrick (2nd; 19:16), Ann-Marie Wiggins (3rd; 19:42), Alicia Elder (4th; 19:48), and Melissa Wysong (5th, 19:49). [TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL RESULTS]

Aug. 29, at Shawnee State Invitational
Sarah Mark set a new course record and NAIA No. 4 Cedarville had seven of the top ten finishers en route to winning the Shawnee State Invitational. Mark's time of 19:05 for the 5,000 meters bettered the previous Riverside Park course record by five seconds. Jennifer Tetrick finished 2nd in 19:39, Ann-Marie Wiggins was 4th in 20:00, Alicia Elder placed 5th in 20:38, and Melissa Mattner completed the Lady Jacket scoring in 6th place in 20:48. Cedarville easily won the seven-team meet with 18 points. Charleston (W.Va.) was 2nd with 57 points and was followed by host Shawnee State, 88; Georgetown (Ky.), 96; Pikeville, 149; Columbus State, 181; and Kentucky Christian, 190.
