Travis Allen is in his fourth year at Cedarville University and his third as a member of the baseball program after transferring from Bakersfield College.....one of only two players to start all 47 games last season and every one was as an outfielder.....led the team in batting average (.370) and runs scored (28).....named to the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team.....voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team and the All-AMC South Division Second Team.....opened the season with a team-best 15-game hitting streak and had 13 multi-hit games.....only player on the roster with two four-hit contests which came against Bluffton and Mount Vernon Nazarene.....tops on the club with a .488 batting average with runners in scoring position.....handled 96 chances in the field with just one error. 2003 - Appeared in 36 games with 11 starts in the outfield as a sophomore.....ranked 2nd on the team in runs scored (24) and stolen bases (10).....hit safely in six consecutive games. High School - Registered a two-sport career at Centennial High School.....two-year letter winner in baseball.....member of four league championship squads.....posted a .335 batting average his final season of play.....two-year letter winner in football.....also won league championships four consecutive seasons. Personal - Carries a multi-age physical education major at Cedarville University.....born 4/18/81 in Bakersfield, CA.....married to wife, Allison, on 7/10/04.....son of Wayne and Cheryle Allen.....has two younger sisters.
