Mark Gainer comes to the Yellow Jackets as a transfer from Bowling Green and will be playing his first season of collegiate baseball.....earned two letters in three seasons of baseball at Northwestern High School.....holds school record for most pitching victories in a season with a 7-3 record as a senior with a 2.39 ERA.....also batted .350 with two home runs and eight doubles.....ranks 3rd all-time at the school in strikeouts and posted a 12-3 career record.....All-Central Buckeye Conference First Team selection.....named to the All-Clark County and All-Springfield Area Second Team.....member of 2003 sectional championship squad which was school’s first sectional title in 17 years.....salutatorian of graduating class.....National Honor Society student.
