Adam Schlappi stepped right into CU’s #1 position after transferring from Columbus State University in Georgia where he was a “red shirt” in 2003.....paced the squad with a 78.4 scoring average per 18 holes and had the team’s low score in seven out of nine events.....only Yellow Jacket to play all 17 rounds and shot 82 or better every time.....turned in nine scores in the 70's including a career-best 72 in the second round of the Malone Invitational.....named to the Malone All-Tournament Team with rounds of 74-72 for a 146 total to place 5th overall.....shot 75-79 for a 154 total at Urbana.....placed 6th at Walsh with a 76-82-158 effort.....tied for 26th in the 54-hole American Mideast Conference/NAIA Region IX Tournament with scores of 81-81-78 for a total of 240.

High School - Four-year letter winner in golf.....selected to the All-Kenton Trace Conference Team four times.....averaged 36.2 strokes per nine holes as a senior, 36.4 as a junior, 37.3 as a sophomore, and 38.6 as a freshman.....placed 6th in the AAU national championship.....three-year letter winner in basketball.....member of district championship team.

Personal - Carries a sport management major at Cedarville University.....born 8/2/83 in Xenia, OH.....son of Dan and Sandy Schlappi.....older brother, Gabe, played baseball for the Yellow Jackets.....also has another older brother, Nick.
