Anthony Delimpo has had an immediate impact on the Yellow Jackets’ post play after transferring from Mount Vernon Nazarene.....ranked third on the team at 11.9 ppg while averaging 5.5 rpg.....fired in 20 points, including the game-winning basket, in a 68-66 upset at NCAA Division I Wright State.....scored a career-high 25 points versus Daemen in the American Mideast Conference championship game.....reached double figures in 20 games total including 21 in a victory over NAIA Division I Campbellsville.....recorded a pair of double-doubles - 16 points and 12 rebounds in a victory over Tiffin and 13 points with 12 boards in a win versus Cornerstone in the second round of the NAIA Division II National Tournament.....missed seven games at mid-season with a broken bone in his hand and one other due to a head injury. 2001-03 - Started the better part of two seasons at MVNU with career totals of 609 points and 379 rebounds.....ranked second in scoring (13.1) and rebounding (7.2) as a sophomore for a 20-13 club.....started 30 of 31 games in which he played and led the AMC with a .609 field goal percentage.....averaged 6.0 points and 4.6 rebounds as a freshman with 17 starts in 34 games for 24-11 team that won the NCCAA national title.....had a .584 field goal accuracy in two seasons. High School - Produced an outstanding career at Chesapeake High School where he was a two-time All-Ohio Division III Second Team selection.....named the Division III Ohio Coaches Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds per game.....District 13 Player of the Year.....twice named to the All-District 13 and All-Southeast District first teams.....three-time All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team choice.....played in the Ohio North-South All-Star game as well as the Ohio-Kentucky and Ohio-West Virginia All-Star games.....graduated as school's all-time leading rebounder.....National Honor Society student.
