Tim Beck returns for his fourth season in what has already been at outstanding career with the Yellow Jackets.....team captain and multi-event performer in the sprints, jumps, and javelin.....NCCAA outdoor national champion in the javelin with a career-best throw of 195-feet 1-inch.....American Mideast Conference champion in the event with a 180-5 effort.....also won the Yellow Jacket Open (189-11.50).....NCCAA indoor national champion in the long jump with a career-best leap of 23-8 which set a new school record.....won the indoor event at DePauw (23-7.25) and was 10th at the NAIA Indoor Nationals (22-11.25).....NCCAA All-American outdoors in the long jump after placing 3rd at 21-11.75. 2003 - NCCAA All-American in the outdoor long jump by placing 2nd with a leap of 22-7 which matched his season-best effort.....finished 2nd in the event in the AMC meet at 22-7 and was 2nd at the NCCAA Indoor Nationals (21-11).....threw the javelin a season-long 185-feet 10-inches to win the Taylor Invitational.....placed 3rd in the AMC (184-0) and 5th in the NCCAA (173-1).....finished 4th in the AMC 400 meter dash. 2002 - Finished 3rd in the javelin as a freshman at the NCCAA Nationals with a season-best heave of 164-feet even.....placed 5th in the AMC at 157-9.....finished 5th in the AMC high jump with a 5-10 effort.....cleared a career-high 6-4 at the Florida State Relays.....best indoor effort was 6-2.....finished 6th in the AMC triple jump with a career-best 41-8.50 mark.....also competed in the long jump. High School - Four-sport athlete at Nampa Christian High School.....participated just one year in track & field and was the state high jump champion as a senior by clearing 6-4.....four-year letter winner in baseball, was a two-time all-state selection, and was the team MVP as well as a co-captain his final season.....Nampa Press Tribune Male Athlete of the Year following his senior season.....helped his team to the state baseball title as a junior and played on two district championship teams.....earned three letters in football and two more in basketball. Personal - Carries a business management major at Cedarville University.....born 3/1/83 in Caldwell, ID.....son of David and Phyllis Beck.....has two older brothers, who both attended Cedarville.
