Adam Laskos is in his fourth season in the Yellow Jacket track & field program.....will again serve as a team captain.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the distance medley where the foursome placed 3rd.....competes in the 200 and 400 meters as well as the javelin.....best time in the outdoor 200 was 23.83 seconds at Muskingum.....posted a career-best 52.02 seconds in the 400 at Ohio University.....tossed the javelin a career-long 140-feet 2-inches at Ohio.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete. 2003 - Competed in the 400 meter dash and the javelin during the outdoor season as a sophomore.....ran a season-best 52.31 in the 400 at the Akron Open.....longest toss in the javelin was 135-feet even at the American Mideast Conference meet. 2002 - Ran the 200, 400, 600, and 800 meters during the indoor and outdoor seasons as a freshman.....primarily competed in the 400 meters with a top outdoor time of 53.42 at the Butler Invitational. High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Rootstown High School.....named team MVP as a senior and was recognized as the school’s top sprinter as a junior.....earned All-Portage County League honors during his senior year.....picked up four letters in cross country and played four seasons of basketball with one letter. Personal - Carries a bible comprehensive and mathematics double major at Cedarville University.....born 5/20/82 in Akron, OH.....son of Dan and Sue Laskos.....has one younger sister.
