Courtney Brott returns for her second season with the Lady Jacket softball team.....started all 41 games last season.....became the starting shortstop after beginning the campaign at third base.....posted 24 hits on the year including four doubles.....scored seven runs.....had two hits, two runs and two RBI’s in an early-season win against Cumberland KY.

High School - Posted a three-sport career at Freedom Baptist High School.....earned four letters in softball.....recorded a career batting average of .574.....earned all-state honorable mention during her senior season.....named to the all-conference and all-district teams for each of her four seasons.....twice garnered all-region honors.....two-year letter winner in volleyball.....earned four letters in basketball and was a member of district championship team in 2002....one of top 10 scorers in the conference all four seasons of high school.....named senior athlete of the year.....student body vice-president during junior and senior years.....National Honor Society student.
