Natalie Fox returns for the final season of her stellar Lady Jacket softball career.....ranks as one of the best all-time pitchers in CU softball history.....appeared in 25 games last spring with 21 starts and 21 complete games.....hurled 160 1/3 innings and allowed 22 earned runs while piling up 143 strikeouts.....registered an impressive 0.96 ERA en route to 14 wins including a school-record 10 shutouts.....also batted .241 on the year with 28 hits in 116 at bats.....scored 12 runs and knocked in a fourth-best 13.....posted a five-inning perfect game in an 11-0 shutout win against Point Park....fired a 5-0 no-hitter versus Notre Dame College.....named to the NAIA Region IX Team, All-AMC South Division First Team, NCCAA Midwest Region Team and NCCAA All-Tournament Team..... ranks first all-time in strikeouts (434), shutouts (17) and victories (40).....second all-time in ERA (1.39), innings pitched (472) and winning percentage (.615) and third in complete games (51) and starts (63).  | 2003 - Named to the NAIA Region IX Team, NCCAA Midwest Region Team and American Mideast Conference First Team.....appeared in 21 contests with 11 starts....posted a 2.04 ERA along with 7 wins and 11 losses....recorded 127 strikeouts in 133.2 innings and allowed 39 earned runs..........produced 3 different 14 strikeout performances during the 2003 campaign....pitched 17.2 innings in a 3-2 loss to Rio Grande in the longest NAIA softball game ever played....two year member of Lady Jacket soccer team as a defender during her freshman and sophomore years....started 15 of 16 matches in which she played for 10-8-2 club and was credited with two assists in fall 2001. 2002 - Assembled one of the finest seasons ever turned in by a rookie CU hurler.....posted a 19-6 record with a 1.30 earned run average.....led the AMC in victories, ranked second in ERA, and second in strikeouts with 6.45 K's per 7 innings which also rated 20th nationally in the NAIA.....earned a spot on the NCCAA All-America Second Team and the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....voted to the All-AMC First Team, All-AMC Freshmen Team, and All-NAIA Region IX squad.....made a school-record 35 appearances as a pitcher and equaled the mark for starts with 25.....her 19 victories and 178.0 innings pitched are the both the second-highest efforts in school history.....won just two of her first five decisions before reeling off 12 straight victories.....fanned a career-high 15 batters without a bases on balls and tossed a one-hitter in a 2-1 win over Wilmington.....fired a one-hitter in a 6-0 decision at Rio Grande with eight K's and no walks.....threw one complete-game two-hitter and four three-hitters.....struck out 13 versus Carlow and 10 more batters against Seton Hill.....batted .275 at the plate with six doubles, 14 RBI's, and eight runs scored.....recorded eight multi-hit games including one three-hit effort.....had two or more RBI's in a game four times.....two-year member of Lady Jacket soccer team as a defender.....started 15 of 16 matches in which she played last fall for 10-8-2 club and was credited with two assists.....started all 22 matches as a freshman for 11-9-2 team with one assist.....helped the Lady Jackets to a school-record seven shutouts. High School - Four-year performer in both soccer and softball at Linfield High School.....led her softball team to a 22-4-1 record and to the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Division VI championship as well as the conference title as a senior.....posted a 20-2 record with a 0.26 ERA and 195 strikeouts in 161 innings.....allowed just 18 walks and only five of 62 hits she surrendered went for extra bases.....named the CIF Southern Section Division VI Player of the Year, league MVP, and The Californian All-Valley Co-MVP.
