Ginger Keithley returns to the Lady Jacket softball team for her final season as the career leader in stolen bases with 105....started all 41 games in center field last spring.....led the squad in stolen bases for the third straight season with 37 in 40 attempts.....hit a fourth-best .293 on the year.....second in at bats (133), base hits (39) and runs scored (23).....recorded just one error for a .980 fielding percentage.....named All-American Mideast Conference South Division honorable mention.....earned NCCAA Midwest Region Team and All-Tournament honors. 2003 - Started all 36 games in center field as a sophomore.....earned AMC honorable mention for her efforts.....paced the squad with 23 runs scored and also led the Lady Jackets with 25 stolen bases - third-highest total ever for a single season.....stole three bases in a game on three separate occasions.....tied for the team lead with 37 base hits.....posted a .303 batting average including a double and triple.....registered a team-leading 11 multiple-hit games and twice recorded four-hit games.
2002 - Made an immediate contribution to the Lady Jackets after transferring from Word of Life Bible Institute in New York.....started all 52 games in centerfield.....led the AMC with a school-record 43 stolen bases out of 46 attempts.....ranked 8th nationally in the NAIA with a .935 stolen base percentage.....matched the school record of four stolen bases and four runs scored in a game versus Point Park.....recorded at least one steal in 29 games and had two or more nine times.....batted .313 primarily from the leadoff position with a team-high 39 runs scored.....tied for the team lead with a school-record 163 at bats.....finished the season with a 16-game hitting streak and a .434 batting average over that span.....one of three players on the club with 14 multi-hit games which included a pair of three-hit efforts. High School - Played four years of softball with three letters at Lowell High School.....team MVP as a junior in 1999.....recognized as the squad's top defensive player as a senior, named academic all-conference, and member of section championship team.....garnered three basketball letters and school won sectional and regional titles as a senior.....two-time volleyball team MVP and twice named all-conference.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Carries a multi-age physical education major at Cedarville University.....born 6/16/82 in Hobart, IN.....daughter of Tom and Holly Keithley.....has one younger brother.
