Sciotoville East High School | Heather Grooms will sit out the 2004-05 season as a "red shirt".....joins the Cedarville University basketball program after garnering 10 varsity letters in four sports at Sciotoville East High School.....four-year letter winner in basketball.....member of four-time conference championship squad.....All-Ohio honorable mention in 2003-04 season.....named All-District First Team and AP All-District Second Team for her senior season.....participated in 2004 district all-star game.....two-time All-Southern Ohio Conference First Team performer.....member of the all-conference second team for sophomore season.....averaged 18 points, 5 steals, 5 assists and 6 rebounds per game during senior campaign.....also a three-year letter winner in softball.....earned two letters in volleyball.....all-conference second team in 2003 and participated in conference all-star match.....earned one letter in track.....received the OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Graphic design major at Cedarville University.....born 3/13/86 in Portsmouth, OH.....daughter of Jeff Grooms and Sheila Samaros.....has one older brother.
