Brittany Smart returns for her second season with the Lady Jackets after a successful rookie campaign.....appeared in all 38 games last year with 22 starts.....team’s second-leading scorer with 15.1 points per game.....third-leading rebounder with 5.1 boards per game.....hit double figures in scoring in 34 games.....poured in a season-high 29 points in a win versus Central State .....grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds versus Ursuline .....hit for 20 or more points on nine occasions.....574 points for the year are the most ever scored by a CU freshman and the sixth-highest point total ever in a single season.....led squad in steals (88) which was the third-highest in a single season .....was second in assists (128) and field goals made (206) .....named to the NAIA Division II All-Tournament Team Second Team.....member of the All-NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.....voted to the American Mideast Conference Second Team and the AMC South Division Freshmen Team .....named the AMC South Division Freshman of the Year.

High School - Produced a stellar high school career.....played two years at Troy Christian, one year at Southeastern, and finished her career at Springfield Shawnee.....played for her father, Mike, who was her coach all four seasons.....teams finished 77-18 during her high school career.....earned All-State First Team honors in 2003 and All-State Second Team in 2002.....led all divisions in scoring in the state of Ohio with 31.5 points per game as a senior.....District 9 Division II Player of the Year.....led high school teams to league titles all four seasons of play.....Central Buckeye Conference Player of the Year in 2003.....All-Conference First Team performer all four years of high school career.....led Shawnee in points, steals, assists, field goal percentage, rebounds and free throw percentage.....set single-game school scoring records at Troy Christian (42 points), Southeastern (39), and Shawnee (51).....2,180 career points ranks 18th all-time in the state of Ohio.....ranks second all-time in Ohio for most free throws made in a season and third all-time for most free throws made in a single game.
