Jessica Balser returns for her third season with the Lady Jackets after attending Wilmington College where she played softball for one season.....appeared in 11 matches with 10 starts as a netminder for CU.....registered 50 saves with a 1.88 goals against average.....credited with four shutouts including a 2-0 blanking against Walsh.....NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....third all-time with a 1.42 goals against average.....ranks fourth with 61 career saves and 8 career wins. 2002 - Appeared in eight matches with three starts in goal for the Lady Jackets.....credited with four wins including a 2-0 shutout against Earlham.....recorded 11 saves with a 0.42 goals against average.....NAIA and NCCAA All America Scholar-Athlete. High School - Four-year letter winner in soccer playing three seasons at Graham High School and senior year at Northwestern High School.....team captured district title during her lone season at Northwestern.....voted All-Central Buckey Conference Second Team.....earned four letters in softball playing three years at Graham and final year at Northwestern.....team captured 2000 league, district and regional championships while finishing third in the state .....also played two years of basketball.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Dean's List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 1/13/82 in Troy, OH.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Balser.....has one younger sister and a younger brother.
