Candace Jelinek is back for her third season in the Lady Jacket soccer program....serves as a team co-captain.....appeared in just one match last year before suffering a season-ending knee injury....scored her lone goal of the campaign in a 5-2 win over Ohio Northern. 2002 - Appeared in 13 matches with 12 starts in her rookie season before a foot injury put her on the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign....tied for second on the team in scoring with four goals and two asissts for 10 points.....scored the first three goals of her collegiate career in a 4-1 non-conference victory over Marian. High School - Assembled a three-sport career at Community Christian High School.....three-year letter winner in soccer.....member of the 2001 and 2002 FRCAA state championship teams.....named all-conference and all-state both junior and senior seasons.....voted team's offensive player of the year in 2002.....two-year letter winner in basketball.....named all-conference and all-state in 2001 and 2002.....earned one letter in cross country.....senior class vice-president. Personal - Comprehensive communications major at Cedarville University.....born 10/16/83 in Englewood, CO.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jelinek.....has two older sisters.
