Lauren Sato returns for her third season with the Lady Jackets and is one of nine juniors on the 2004 roster.....one of six players to start all 18 matches last fall.....integral factor in defensive unit that allowed 1.77 goals per game and posted four shutouts during the 2003 campaign.....earned NAIA Region IX Second Team honors.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....member of the All-American Mideast Conference South Division First Team. 2002 - Appeared in 19 matches with 18 starts as a freshman.....played an integral role in a defensive unit that allowed 1.55 goals per game and posted seven shutouts during the 2002 campaign.....named Most Valuable Defensive Player......also a member of the Lady Jacket track & field squad.....ran a team-best 16.72 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Taylor Invitational.....part of the 4 x 100 meter relay team that posted a season-best 51.54 at the Miami Invitational. High School - Two-sport athlete at Central Kitsap High School.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....named to the All-Narrows League Second Team in 2001.....earned All-Olympic League honorable mention in 2000.....two-year letter winner in track & field.....finished 9th in the 300 meter low hurdles and was a member of the 9th-place 4 x 100 meter relay squad at the Washington State Track and Field Championships.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Political science and education major at Cedarville University.....born 9/30/83 in Yakima, WA.....daughter of Mr. David Sato and Mrs. Molly Evans.....has a younger brother.
