Valparaiso High School | Julie Martz joins the Lady Jackets following an outstanding career at Indiana high school cross country power Valparaiso.....team won state championship her freshman, junior, and senior years with a 2nd-place finish her sophomore season.....two-time all-state performer placing 23rd overall in both her sophomore and seniors years.....finished 31st in the state as a junior.....two-time all-semi-state performer.....earned all-regional honors three times and all-sectional recognition four times.....three-time All-Duneland Athletic Conference runner.....represented Indiana in the 2003 Mideast Meet of Champions against five other states after being one of the top ten seniors in the state meet.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....National Honor Society student.
