Jennifer McKellar Jennifer McKellar is in her third year at Cedarville University and will be competing in cross country for the second time.....sat out the 2003 season.....ran in the #4 position for the 2002 team that was ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for seven straight weeks and placed 4th at the national meet.....posted a career-best time of 18:49 and placed 4th overall at the Friendship Invitational.....finished 8th in the AMC Championship in 19:15.....placed 40th out of 255 runners at the NAIA Nationals in 19:24.....team won NCCAA national title and AMC championship. High School - Produced a record-setting career at Xenia Christian High School.....four-year letter winner in cross country and track.....three-time All-Ohio Division III runner in cross country.....placed 4th in the state meet as a senior in 18:52, was 7th as a junior, and 15th as a sophomore.....owns the school record for the cross country 5K of 18:40.....recognized as the Dayton Daily News female cross country Runner of the Year as a senior for all divisions.....ran for the Ohio team in the Mideast Cross Country Meet following her senior season.....two-time All-Ohio on the track in the 1,600 meters and was all-state one time in the 3,200 running under the coaching of her mother, Andrea.....four-time Metro Buckeye Conference Most Valuable Runner in track.....regional record holder in the 3,200, holds the district marks in the 1,600 and 3,200, owns conference records for the 800; 1,600; and 3,200, and set five school records.....Academic All-Ohio in both cross country and track.....National Honor Society student.....valedictorian of graduating class. Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as a multi-age physical education major at Cedarville University.....born 11/16/83 in Maywood, IL.....daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel McKellar.....has one older brother and a younger brother. | ||
