Kathy Scott is a third-year runner who will serve as a team captain this fall.....competed in seven of nine varsity meets as a sophomore.....turned in a career-best time for the 5K of 19:52 at the Friendship Invitational to place 17th overall.....finished 16th at the Wilmington Classic in 19:54.....CU’s #6 finishers at the NAIA Nationals in 20:18.....member of the indoor and outdoor track & field squads while participating in the 800 meters. 2002 - Ran in six varsity meets during her freshman season.....posted a season-best 20:05 effort in the 5K and placed 31st overall at the Louisville Classic.....finished 24th in the Friendship Invitational in 20:20 and was 26th in the American Mideast Conference Championship in 20:29.....ran the 800 meters during the indoor and outdoor track seasons. High School - Four-year letter winner and three-time Most Valuable Runner during her prep career at Tiffin Columbian High School.....state qualifier, who also owns the 10th-fastest time for the 3K in school history.....member of two Northern Ohio League title teams.....earned four letters in track and won the 800 meter district championship as a senior.....team won the 2002 conference crown.....also competed in the 400 and 1,600 meters.....served as a team captain in both sports and was a four-year scholar-athlete.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Carries a marketing major at Cedarville University.....born 1/28/84 in Rock Springs, WY.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Scott.....has one younger brother. | ||
