Justin Benz returns for his fourth year with the Yellow Jackets.....has impressively recovered from a knee injury in his first collegiate match as a freshman that nearly ended his career.....moved to a forward position and led the squad in scoring last fall with a team-high six goals and an assist for 13 points.....netted the first goal in a 2-1 overtime win versus AMC foe Ohio Dominican.....scored in the second overtime at Mount Vernon Nazarene giving Cedarville a 1-0 AMC victory.....scored twice in three matches at the NCCAA National Tournament.

2002-03 - Started the 2002 opener as a freshman at Georgetown as a defender, but suffered a season-ending knee injury.....recovered to appear in seven matches as a sophomore.

High School - Four-year letter winner in soccer at Spruce Creek High School playing the sweeper position.....earned all-conference first team honors as a senior and was a second-team selection as a junior.

Personal - Carries a physics major at Cedarville University.....born 10/21/83 in Bellevue, WA.....son of Eric and Ellen Benz.....has two younger sisters and a younger brother.
