Jud Brooker adds depth to the Yellow Jackets' group of distance runners.....got off to a great start during the cross country season before missing the final half of the schedule with an injury.....competed in the first four meets and was among Cedarville's top three finishers in the first three outings.....posted a season-low time of 26:19 in the 8K at the Friendship Invitational where he placed 20th of 122 runners.

High School - Earned four letters each in cross country and track at Penns Valley High School.....two-time conference champion in cross country.....ran a career-best 16:11 in the 5K at the 2004 Friendship Invitational to place 2nd in the Blue Division to lead team to overall title.....on the track, graduated with school and conference records in the 800; 1,600; and 3,200 meters.....two-time time league champion in all three events.....PIAA state runner-up in the 1,600.....district 1,600 meter champ as a senior and was part of winning 4 x 800 meter relay district title quartet as a junior.

Personal - Carries an electronic media major at Cedarville University.....born 3/22/87 in Des Moines, IA.....son of Scott and Jane Brooker.....both parents were four-year distance runners at CU.....mother was an NAIA All-American on the track and first female track athlete inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame.....uncle is CU track & field head coach Jeff Bolender.....has one younger brother.
