Matthew Clark will run the middle distances for the Yellow Jackets in his third season on the track.....sat out the 2005 varsity cross country season.

2004-05 - NCCAA Indoor All-American in the mile run with a time of 4:21.66 which placed 3rd.....finished 3rd in the American Mideast Conference 1,500 meters in 4:09.79.....ran a career-best 2:00.28 in the outdoor 800 at the Yellow Jacket Open.....appeared in four varsity cross country meets in the fall.....had a season-best time of 28:18 at the Friendship Invitational.

2003-04 - NCCAA indoor track All-American in the distance medley as part of team that placed 3rd.....competed in the 800 and 1,500 meters during the outdoor season.....posted a season-low 2:00.80 in the 800 to place 4th at the Yellow Jacket Open.....best effort in the 1,500 was 4:04.13 at the Miami Invitational.....appeared in five varsity cross country meets as a freshman.....ran a career-best 27:19 in the 8K as CU's #7 finisher in the Friendship Invitational.

High School - Homeschool graduate who participated in athletics at Abington High School.....ran one season of cross country and earned all-conference honors.....picked up all-league recognition on the track in the 4 x 800 meter relay.....also played one season of lacrosse.

Personal - Dean's List student as a criminal justice and psychology double major at Cedarville University.....born 8/2/85 in Meadowbrook, PA.....son of Wayne and Deborah Clark.....has four younger brothers and two younger sisters.
