Aaron Griggs will run in the distance events in what will be his second season with the Yellow Jackets.....appeared in two varsity cross country meets in the fall.....posted a career-best time of 29:34 for the 8K at the Miami Invitational in the season-opener.
2004-05 - Competed primarily in the 1,500 meters on the track.....best time outdoors was 4:33.67 at the Miami Invitational.....ran in five varsity cross country meets in the fall.....best time was 29:42 at the Friendship Invitational.
High School - Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track & field at Spaulding High School.....earned honorable mention recognition in both sports in all-star squads selected by the Times Argus newspaper.....cross country team captain who set the school record for five miles.....placed 10th in the state in the 3,000 meters on the track and was part of 4 x 800 meter relay team that set the school record.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Carries an electronic media major at Cedarville University.....born 8/23/86 in Berlin, VT.....son of Scott and Deborah Griggs.....has one younger brother as well as another younger brother and sister who are twins.
