Jim Sawin will again specializing in the high jump during his third season with the Yellow Jackets.....established a new career-best outdoors at the NCCAA Championship at 6-5 which placed 4th.....finished 3rd in the American Mideast Conference at six-feet even.....matched his career best indoors at the NCCAA Nationals with a 6-4 effort that placed 6th.

2004 - Finished 4th in the high jump at the NCCAA Indoor Championship with a career-best effort of 6-feet 4-inches.....best outdoor performance was 6-3.50 which placed 5th at the NCCAA Nationals.....cleared 6-2 in three outdoor meets including the AMC Championship where he placed 3rd.

High School - Homeschool graduate, yet earned three letters in outdoor track & field and two more indoors at Athol High School.....Western Mass outdoor high jump champion as a junior and senior.....state runner-up as a junior and finished 6th his final season.....two-time All-Western Mass in outdoor track.....earned the same honor as a senior indoors.....member of 2002 Western Mass outdoor track & field title team.....ran four seasons of cross country with one letter.....school won the 2001 Western Mass championship and was 3rd in the state.

Personal - Dean's Honor List student as a sport management major at Cedarville University.....born 5/3/85 in Greenfield, MA.....son of Butch and Noel Sawin.....has one older sister.
