Justin Herbert returns to the Jackets after competing in all eight varsity meets as a freshman.....ended the year as the #6 runner.....ran a career-best 26:32 as CU's #4 finisher at the Louisville Classic to place 80th of 397 participants.....finished 20th in the Friendship Invitational in 26:44.....placed 33rd at the NCCAA Nationals in 27:03.....competed during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.....finished 3rd in the 5K race walk in the American Mideast Conference Championship.

High School - Three-time All-Greater Western Ohio Conference cross country runner at Division I Wayne High School.....four-year letter winner.....three-time all-district and all-area performer.....Team MVP.....four-time regional qualifier.....member of two district championship teams.....earned three letters in track & field.....twice qualified for regional competition.....part of three-time league, district, and regional championship squad.....team captain for both cross country and track programs.....selected to the GWOC All-Academic Team.....U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award recipient.....Junior Olympic national qualifier as a senior and was state runner-up as a junior.
