Allie Smith returns for her fourth season with the Lady Jacket softball team and will anchor the pitching staff.....posted a 9-5 record last spring with a 1.71 earned run average.....posted complete-game shutout wins over Cumberland TN and Robert Morris IL.....stroked a two-run single and earned the win on the mound in a 4-3 decision over Shawnee State.....fanned six batters and walked one in a 2-1 win against NCAA Division II Findlay.....recorded 10 strikeouts in a complete-game 4-1 win over Seton Hill in an AMC Tournament Qualifier contest.....notched a career-high 12 strikeouts in an 8-1 decision over Malone.....ranks third all-time with nine shutouts and a 1.99 ERA.....is fourth all-time with a .594 career winning percentage.....earned All-American Mideast Conference South Division Second Team honors.
2004 - Posted a 12-7 record in 20 starts.....threw 122 2/3 innings with 107 strikeouts while allowing 27 earned runs for a 1.54 ERA.....had six shutouts to help set a school record of 16 on the season.....earned NCCAA Midwest Region All Tournament honors.....recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts in a win versus Notre Dame (Ohio).....defeated Concordia MI twice during the 2004 NCCAA Midwest Region Tournament - both 7-inning complete games.
2003 - Made a successful contribution to the pitching staff during her rookie season.....appeared in 13 games with five starts and one complete game.....posted a 4.62 ERA in 33 1/3 innings pitched.....recorded 22 strikeouts and allowed 14 walks.....had a 1-3 record including a one-hit, five-inning 8-0 shutout victory against Notre Dame (Ohio).....posted the fourth-highest number of relief appearances in a single season with eight.
High School - Earned four letters at Flagler Palm Coast High School.....two time All-Area First Team selection.....named Palatka Tournament MVP and was selected to play in the Senior All-Star Game.....threw the first perfect game in school history.....member of three-time conference championship squad and two-time district title team.....National Honor Society student.
