Jessica Schmidt joins the Lady Jacket soccer program after transferring from NCAA Division I Miami University (Ohio).....appeared in seven matches for the Redskins in 2003.....scored a pair of goals in her first collegiate start to propel the RedHawks to a 2-1 win over Wright State.....assisted on a goal in Miami's 5-1 win over Northern Illinois.....finished her rookie season as the team's fourth-leading scorer.

High School - Participated in three sports during high school career.....first two years were at Cedarville High School before completing last two at Xenia High School.....earned two letters in basketball and one in volleyball at CHS.....two-year letter winner in soccer at XHS.....participated in the Miami Valley senior all-star game.....named All-Area Second Team senior season.....registered 17 goals as a senior captain in 2002 to lead Xenia and the Greater Western Ohio Conference in scoring.....earned GWOC First Team honors and voted team's offensive MVP for her efforts in senior season.

Personal - Born 9/17/84 in Aurora, NE.....daughter of Dr. David and Barb Schmidt.....father is an Associate Professor of Management at CU.....has three older sisters and one younger sister.
