Emily Peacock returns for her third season with the Lady Jacket track & field program specializing in the throwing events.....registered 110 individual points last spring.....NCCAA indoor champion in the weight throw (48-2.75).....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the hammer with a 3rd-place heave of 143-2 where the Lady Jackets placed 5th as a team.....recorded a career-best 38-10 performance in the shot put to place 5th at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship.....posted a career-best toss of 116-0 in the discus to finish 9th at the same meet.....won the hammer throw at the Indiana Wesleyan Qualifier with a career-best 152-9 effort.....captured the hammer throw title at the Yellow Jacket Open with a 131-1 performance.....hurled the javelin 90-1 to finish 4th at the Yellow Jacket Open.
2004 - Tossed the discus a season-best 105-9 to place 3rd at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational.....finished 4th in the hammer throw at the AMC Championship with a season-best heave of 130-4.....finished 5th in the shot put at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational with a 30-8 effort.....registered a season-best 35-3.25 mark in the weight throw at the Findlay Open.
High School - Three-year letter winner at Hedgesville High School....track squad captured regional, AVL and CVAL titles from 1999-2002.....also three year letter winner in soccer.....scored 36 career goals.....team produced WVSA championships from 1996-99.....National Honor Society student....class salutatorian.
Personal - Dean's List student as a psychology and criminal justice major at Cedarville University.....born 2/21/85 in Peoria, IL....daughter of Rev. Kaye and Susan Peacock.....has one older sister, one younger sister and a younger brother.
