May 25-27, at NAIA Outdoor Championship
Samantha Maat earned All-America honors in two events and Elisabeth Pyles placed 2nd in the steeplechase to highlight the Lady Jackets' showing at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Cedarville totaled 19 points to finish tied for 12th place out of 92 schools at the meet hosted by Fresno Pacific University. Maat became an NAIA All-American in the 10,000 meter run for the third straight year with a school-record performance of 36:14.24 to place 3rd. She later finished 4th in the 5K in 17:33.80. The top six finishers in each event are All-Americans. Pyles completed an outstanding freshman season with her runner-up performance in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Her time of 11:06.98 gave CU its third All-American in the event in the last four years. Elsewhere, Courtney Reid failed to advance out of the 100 meter hurdles prelims despite setting a school record of 14.79 seconds to place 5th in her heat. Keri Hilty advanced to the 800 meter semifinals after placing 5th in her heat in 2:15.12, but then did not get to the finals after a 2:23.95 clocking in the semis. Emily Peacock was 17th in the hammer throw with a toss of 130-feet even. The 4 x 400 meter relay squad of Reid, Marla Rice, Elise O'Neal, and Bethany Davies posted a time of 3:59.11 which was 6th in their heat of the prelims. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

May 11, at Indiana Wesleyan Qualifier
Courtney Reid won two events which included an NAIA automatic qualifying mark in the 100 meter hurdles at the Indiana Wesleyan Qualifier. Her time in the hurdles was 14.84 seconds to go along with a 1st-place effort of 1:03.20 in the 400 meter dash. Emily Peacock was a winner in both the discus (130-feet 5-inches) and hammer (143-0). Samantha Maat won the 800 meters in 2:27.0 and the 4 x 800 meter relay quartet of Jenna Hakala, Maria Harley, Elise O'Neal, and Bethany Davies was 2nd in 9:48.19.

May 5-6, at NCCAA Outdoor Championship
Courtney Reid won the NCCAA 100 meter hurdles and scored 19.25 total points to lead the Lady Jackets to a 3rd-place finish at Taylor University. Malone won the 13-team meet with 169.50 points and was followed by Greenville (148.50) and Cedarville (109). Reid's winning time in the 100 meter hurdles was 15.21 seconds. She was 3rd in the 200 meters in 26.33 and joined Keri Hilty, Marla Rice, and Elise O'Neal to place 2nd in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3:55.53 which set a school record and met the NAIA automatic qualifying mark. CU had five other NCCAA All-Americans (top 3 finishers), four of which were individual champions. Samantha Maat set a school record and met the NAIA qualifying standard after winning the 10,000 meters for the second straight year in 36:16.77. Elisabeth Pyles advanced to the NAIA Nationals in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a winning time of 11:04.93. Hilty won the 800 meters in 2:14.20 and was 3rd in the high jump at 5-feet 0.50-inches. April 21-22, 15th Annual AMERICAN MIDEAST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
The host Lady Jackets placed 3rd in the 15th Annual American Mideast Conference Championship where Emily Peacock notched the team's only victory in the hammer throw. Her winning heave was 144-feet 7-inches. Cedarville had no less than seven runner-up performances. Courtney Reid was 2nd in both the 100 meter hurdles (15.09) and 400 meter hurdles (1:05.92). Other individual runner-up showings were by Elisabeth Pyles in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (11:17.97), Keri Hilty in the high jump (5-2), and Samantha Maat in the 5,000 meters (17:51.19). The 4 x 400 meter team of Bethany Davies, Hilty, Marla Rice, and Reid was 2nd in 4:00.83 as was the 4 x 800 meter relay unit of Maria Harley, Hilty, Elise O'Neal, and Davies in 9:38.35. Maat was also 3rd in the 1,500 meters (4:48.79). Malone coasted to its third straight title with 233 points. April 13, at Anderson Invitational
Emily Peacock won the hammer throw with an NAIA qualifying mark and also grabbed 1st place in the shot put at the Anderson Invitational. The Lady Jackets placed 3rd in the five-team event behind the host Ravens and Taylor. Peacock's winning heave in the hammer was 152-feet 9-inches. Her effort in the shot put was 36-10.50 and she finished 2nd in the discus at 118-6. Courtney Reid was a double winner in the 100 meter hurdles (15.20) and the 400 meter hurdles (1:06.04). Bonnie Wright was Cedarville's other winner with a leap of 16-2.50 in the long jump. She was also 2nd in the 100 meter dash (13.43). Samantha Maat placed 2nd in the 1,500 meters in 4:48.75. April 7-8, at Miami Invitational
Keri Hilty and Samantha Maat met the NAIA qualifying mark in their respective events at the Miami University Invitational. Hilty won the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.12 while Maat finished 3rd in the 5,000 meters in 17:30.35. Cedarville placed 12th out of 16 teams. The host RedHawks won the meet with 164.50 points and Ball State was 2nd with 141. The field featured 11 NCAA Division I schools including Notre Dame and Ohio University. March 30 - April 1, at Emory Classic
Emily Peacock won two events and two Lady Jackets qualified for the NAIA Nationals at the Emory University Classic. The host Eagles won the 19-team meet with 200.50 points while Cedarville was the runner-up with 146. Peacock won the hammer throw at 143-feet 1-inch and the discus with a toss of 117-0. Samantha Maat met the NAIA automatic qualifying mark in the 10,000 meters with a winning time of 37:56.08. Elisabeth Pyles won the 3,000 meter steeplechase (11:21.71) and became a qualifier. The 4 x 400 meter relay unit of Pyles, Elise O'Neal, Keri Hilty, and Bethany Davies won with a time of 4:05.31. March 25, CEDARVILLE OUTDOOR OPEN
The Lady Jackets won eight events to capture the team title in the Cedarville Open to begin the outdoor season. The hosts had 210 points in the six-team event while runner-up Anderson tallied 166. The weather featured wind chills below freezing and occasional snow flurries. Courtney Reid had three first-place finishes. Individually, she won the 100 meter hurdles in 16.70 seconds. She joined Bonnie Wright, Bethany Davies, and Marla Rice to win the 4 x 100 meter relay in 51.77 seconds. The 4 x 400 meter unit of Elise O'Neal, Reid, Keri Hilty, and Rice was victorious in 4:08.62. Hilty won the 400 meter dash in 59.01 seconds and Rice grabbed the top spot in the long jump at 16-feet 0.50-inches. Emily Peacock won both the shot put (33-4.50) and hammer throw (140-3). March 9-11, at NAIA Indoor Championship
Cedarville had two athletes earn NAIA Indoor All-America honors with Keri Hilty placing 4th in the 600 meters and Samantha Maat finishing 6th in the 5,000 meters. The top six finishers in each event are All-Americans. Hilty posted a time of 1:35.94 in the 600 meters after winning her heat a day earlier with a school-record time 1:34.51. Maat's time in the 5,000 meters was 17:42.92 following a preliminary time of 18:02.04 to finish 4th in her heat. Sarah Ensslen placed 8th in the triple jump with a leap of 37-feet 9.50-inches and she was 20th in the long jump at 17-feet even. Kelly Steingass placed 10th in the 3,000 meter racewalk (16:42.05), Christina Reyes was 12th in the mile (5:16.26), and Emily Peacock was 13th in the weight throw (49-4.50). Others who failed to advance in their respective event were Elisabeth Pyles (18:36.26) and Brittany Simpson (19:03.03) in the 5K; Nicole Santos in the 3K (10:46.13), and Courtney Reid in the 60 meter hurdles (12.10). Feb. 24, at Ohio Northern
The Lady Jackets had three NAIA automatic qualifiers and broke two school records at Ohio Northern. The host Polar Bears won the nine-team event while Cedarville finished 4th. Keri Hilty won the 1,000 meter run in a school-record time of 3:03.27 and Stacey Keller was 3rd in 3:05.09 which also topped the previous school mark. Both runners qualified for the upcoming NAIA Nationals. The distance medley quartet of Marla Rice, Audree Goodew, Christina Reyes, and Jenna Hakala met the NAIA qualifying mark with a winning and school-record effort of 12:34.34. Elsewhere, Sarah Ensslen was a winner in both the long jump (17-6.25) and triple jump (38-7). Courtney Reid was victorious in the 400 meter dash (1:00.74) and was 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles (8.66). Feb. 18, at NCCAA Indoor Championship
Samantha Maat was named the Outstanding Performer of the Meet and the Lady Jackets won the NCCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship at Taylor University. She won the 3,000 meters in a school-record time of 10:14.10 and then followed up with a victory in the 5K at 17:30.06. Cedarville rolled up 137 points while runner-up Roberts Wesleyan finished with 122.5. Courtney Reid and Sarah Ensslen both enjoyed four All-America performances (top 3 finishers). Reid won the 55 meter hurdles and automatically qualified for the NAIA with an effort of 8.53 seconds to go along with a 2nd-place finish in the 200 meter dash in a school-record time of 26.40. Ensslen won her third straight triple jump title at 38-feet 7-inches and took 1st place in the long jump at 17-10.25. The twosome joined Bethany Davies and Marla Rice to place 2nd in the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1:48.89 and then finished their day by teaming with Keri Hilty and Elise O'Neal in the 4 x 400 where they were the runner-up in a school-record time of 4:02.52. Emily Peacock won the weight throw with a heave of 47-11 and she set a school record in the shot put at 38-4 which placed 6th. O'Neal finished 3rd in the 400 meters (1:01.90) while Hilty was 2nd in the 800 meters setting a new school record in 2:17.12 plus she was 3rd in the high jump (5-1). The last group of All-Americans came in the distance medley relay where Davies, Jenna Hakala, Stephanie Graff, and Audree Goodew were clocked in 12:55.42 to finish 3rd. Feb. 10, at Findlay Open
Keri Hilty, who won the 600 meter run, and 3K runner-up Christina Reyes both met the NAIA qualifying standard in their respective events at the University of Findlay Open. The meet was non-scoring. Hilty covered the 600 meters in 1:36.23 to win by more than a second. Reyes' time in the 3,000 meters was 10:26.86. Stacey Keller placed 2nd in the 800 meters (2:25.37) and Sarah Ensslen was 2nd in the long jump (17-4). Courtney Reid finished 4th in the 200 meter dash (26:76) while Brittany Simpson was 4th in the 3K (10:52.11). [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Feb. 3, CEDARVILLE INDOOR INVITATIONAL
Sarah Ensslen and Samantha Maat each posted victories at the Cedarville Indoor Invitational in the Doden Field House. Miami won the 11-team event with 250 points, Dayton had 102, and the host Lady Jackets finished with 88 points. Ensslen won the triple jump with a leap of 39-feet 1.75-inches and then tied the school record in the long jump with a 3rd-place effort of 18-3.75. The performances improved her NAIA automatic qualifying marks in both events. Maat met the NAIA qualifying standard in the 5,000 meters at 17:55.95 as did runner-up Elisabeth Pyles, who was timed in 18:17.92. Courtney Reid was 5th in the 200 meter dash in 26.62 seconds which broke her own school record. She was also 3rd in the 55 meter hurdles in 8.72 seconds. Kelly Steingass, who earlier qualified for the NAIA in the 1,600 meter race walk, lowered her time to 9:01.82 which placed 5th. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Jan. 28, at Rose-Hulman Invitational
Samantha Maat set a school record in the 3,000 meters to lead a group of four NAIA automatic qualifiers and Cedarville captured the team title at the Rose-Hulman Invitational. The Lady Jackets totaled 194.5 points to easily take the top spot in the seven-team field as runner-up Anderson finished with 126 points. Maat turned in a time of 10:14.33 in the 3K to break the previous school mark of 10:19.29 set by Becky Jordan in 1998. Sarah Ensslen, who met the NAIA qualifying mark in the triple jump in the first meet of the season, upped her standard with a winning leap of 38-feet even. She also won the long jump at 17-1.50. Other CU winners who qualified for the nationals were Christina Reyes in the mile run (5:12.05) and Keri Hilty in the 800 meters (2:19.46). Elsewhere, Emily Peacock won both the shot put (35-10.50) and weight throw (46-0.75) while Courtney Reid was a winner in the 55 meter hurdles (8.94). The 4 x 200 meter relay squad of Marla Rice, Ensslen, Hilty, and Reid had a winning time of 1:49.04. The 4 x 400 meter relay quartet of Hilty, Reyes, Rice, and Elise O'Neal was victorious in 4:07.52. Jan. 20, at Ohio Northern
The Lady Jackets posted an impressive start to the indoor season at Ohio Northern with four school records, three first-place finishes, and two NAIA automatic qualifying efforts. Ashland won the eight-team event with 208.75 points and was followed by Findlay, 175.25; Ohio Northern, 125.75; and Cedarville, 105.5. NAIA All-American Sarah Ensslen was at the forefront by winning the triple jump at 37-feet 9.50-inches and placing 2nd in the long jump at 18-0.50. She met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard in both events. Ensslen was also part of the winning 4 x 200 meter relay team along with Bonnie Wright, Marla Rice, and Courtney Reid that posted a time of 1:51.76. Cedarville's other top finish came from the distance medley relay quartet of Elisabeth Pyles, Elise O'Neal, Jenna Hakala, and Samantha Maat in 12:52.45. The 4 x 400 unit of Rice, O'Neal, Christina Reyes, and Keri Hilty set a new school record of 4:07.48 which placed 3rd. Hilty was 2nd in the 500 meters and lowered her own school mark to 1:17.64 and Reid was 3rd in the 300 meters with a school-record time of 43.09 seconds. Emily Peacock had the fourth school record with a heave of 36-8.25 in the shot put to place 7th.
