Traverse City Christian High School product Matt Yeiter (seated right) has committed to Cedarville University to play for the men's golf squad. He is seated next to Yellow Jacket head coach Ryan Bowen and is joined by his parents, Curt and Chris Yeiter. Matt is a three-time Team MVP, averaged 39 strokes per 9 holes as a senior, and tied for 3rd place in the regional with a 77.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio (12-14-2006) - Yellow Jacket men's golf coach Ryan Bowen has announced the signing of another student-athlete from Concord (Ind.) High School, who is also the younger brother of a current CU golfer. Trent Roach, the son of Duane and Becky Roach of Elkhart, Ind., has signed a letter of intent to play for the Jackets. His older brother, Travis, is a senior on the 2006-07 squad.

Trent is the #1 golfer at Concord and a teammate of Nick Bigler, who previously signed with CU and whose older brother, Nick, is a sophomore with the Yellow Jackets. Roach averaged 39 strokes per nine holes as a junior and was the DeKalb Invitational champion. He made the cut as an Indiana junior state tournament qualifier, participated in the state high school tournament as a sophomore, and is the reigning Bent Oak Golf Club champion carding a 64 in the championship match.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio (10-31-2006) - Concord (Ind.) High School senior Nick Bigler has signed a letter of intent to attend Cedarville University and play golf for the Yellow Jackets. He has been a three-year prep golfer and played in the #3 position as a junior averaging 40 strokes per nine holes. Bigler was the 2006 Elkhart County Junior champion and qualified for the Indiana Boys State Junior Amateur.

Nick will join older brother, Brett, who is a sophomore at CU as the #3 player on the squad. The duo played together for two years at Concord helping the Minutemen to a state tournament appearance in 2005.
