Eric Leininger is back for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets.....appeared in all 31 games as a junior with 24 starts in the backcourt.....led the squad with 48 three-point field goals and ranked second in assists with 66.....buried seven treys and scored a career-high 23 points in a win versus Rio Grande.....handed out a career-high seven assists against Mount Vernon Nazarene.....scored in double figures eight times.

2004-05 - Played in the first 13 games as sophomore with 12 starts before sitting out the rest of the season.....ranked fourth on the team in scoring average (8.1 ppg) and paced the squad in three-point accuracy (.388).....netted a season-high 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting outside the arc in a win over Point Park.....scored in double figures in five other games.

2003-04 - Appeared in 31 games as a freshman and averaged 4.4 ppg.....made his collegiate debut with 10 points in a win at Indiana Wesleyan.....poured in a season-high 16 points versus Cardinal Stritch at the Taylor Classic.....scored 13 points against Shawnee State and had a pair of 11-point efforts.

High School - Played four years of Class 5A high school basketball in Texas which is the state's largest classification.....played two years with one letter at Marcus High School before finishing his career as a two-year letter winner at Coppell High School.....three-year starter.....posted career averages of 14 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting .405 outside the three-point line.....two-time all-district first team selection.....twice named team's offensive MVP.....made four last-second, game-winning shots over his last two seasons.....member of two-time district and area championship squads.

Personal - Carries a criminal justice major at Cedarville University.....born 1/22/85 in Philadelphia, PA.....son of John and Sharon Leininger.....has two older brothers.
