Ryan Short

Ryan Short is Cedarville's top returning player and has played in every Yellow Jacket contest during his first two years in the program.....ranked second on the team in scoring as a sophomore at 15.4 points per game.....led the squad in free throws made (105) and assists (125).....voted to the American Mideast Conference South Division 2nd Team and the NCCAA Midwest Region 2nd Team.....scored a career-high 25 points with 10 rebounds in a win over Indiana Tech.....hit for double figures in 21 contests.....scored 20 or more points in game ten times including 24 in an AMC Tournament semifinal win at Point Park.....handed out a career-high 10 assists in a victory over Rio Grande.

2004-05 - Played in all 38 games during his rookie season with 21 starts.....averaged 7.4 points per game with 10 games in double figures.....voted to the All-AMC South Division Freshmen Team.....matched his season-high of 22 points in a 76-70 upset of No. 1 seed William Jewell in the second round of the NAIA Division II National Tournament.....also had a team-high 22 points in a win versus Wilberforce.

High School - Produced an outstanding career at Shawnee High School.....three-year varsity starter, who graduated as the school's second all-time leading scorer.....Division II District IX Player of the Year and Clark County Co-Mr. Basketball as a senior after averaging 22.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.....All-Southwest District First Team selection.....all-state special mention.....led team to back-to-back Central Buckeye Conference championships.....averaged 20.5 ppg as a junior and 10.2 as a sophomore.....participated in his only season of track & field as a senior and won the CBC high jump title.....played two seasons of baseball with one letter.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean's List student as an exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 5/18/86 in Springfield, OH.....son of Greg and Belinda Short.....younger sister, Libby, is a sophomore starter on CU's nationally-ranked volleyball team.
