Maicol Venter is in his fourth year at Cedarville University and his third as a member of the varsity squad.....played in 27 games last winter all coming off the bench.....twice matched his career-high of 16 points scored in one game during AMC South Division victories over Malone and Shawnee State.

2004-05 - Appeared in all 38 games with seven starts during his first season as a Yellow Jacket while averaging 5.2 points per game.....scored a career-high 16 points in a win over Tiffin.....had 13-point efforts in victories against eventual NAIA Division II national champion Walsh and Indiana Wesleyan.

2003-04 - Sat out the entire campaign as a red shirt after transferring from Word of Life Bible Institute in New York.....averaged 28 ppg at WOL and was named all-conference first team.....received extensive club team experience in Brazil and was part of two state championship teams.....two-time Player of the Year for his club while averaging 23 ppg.....served as team captain.....scored a career-high 44 points in one game.

Personal - Carries a pre-seminary Bible major at Cedarville University.....born 5/20/80 in Brazil.....son of Alexandre and Vilma Venter.....has two younger brothers.
